WIZA HIDAYAT SHARES SUSTAINABLE FURNITURE INSIGHTS AT ESG WEEK 24

In today’s world, where environmental concerns are at the forefront of global discussions, sustainable practices have become increasingly essential. Concentrix Indonesia’s ESG Week 24 brings a fresh focus on sustainability through the recycling of materials to create sustainable furniture with the theme “Embracing the ESG Spirit: Recycling Material into Sustainable Furniture”.

The webinar was held online on 12th September 2024. Featured insightful presentations from Wiza Hidayat the CEO of Arkadia Works and Gabriela Larasati the Marketing from Ecollabo8. Both speakers shared their expertise and experiences in sustainability, highlighting the potential for turning waste into valuable products and promoting a more sustainable future.

Wiza Hidayat shared one of the standout ideas at ESG Week 24 is sustainable office interior design, the concept of transforming recycled materials into functional and eco-friendly office furniture. Embracing the modular, ergonomic, and eco-friendly design ideas, companies can create innovative products that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also efficient, comfortable, and environmentally responsible.

The event highlighted the importance of the circular economy, which focuses on reducing waste and maximizing resource efficiency. Turning waste into artworks was another key topic discussed at the event.

“The spirit of turning waste into artworks lies in creativity, sustainability, and transformation. It’s about reimagining discarded materials as valuable resources, giving them new life through artistic expression,” Said Wiza Hidayat.

Collaboration was a central theme of the event. By working together, businesses, organizations, and individuals can develop innovative solutions to address environmental and social challenges. ESG Week 24 demonstrated the potential for collaboration to create a more sustainable future.
