SUSTAINABLE FUTURES OF INDONESIA SOCIETY OF INTERIOR DESIGNERS (HDII) FORUM

Wiza Hidayat, CEO of Arkadia Works, recently delivered an inspiring keynote address at a seminar organized by the Indonesian Society of Interior Designers (HDII). The seminar, which had the theme “Shaping Design for Tomorrow” on the 10th of May 2024, aimed to explore the evolving landscape of design and its impact on the future.

In the session, Wiza Hidayat introduced an interior design approach that emphasizes the importance of function before beauty. He highlighted crucial aspects such as layout efficiency, the use of ergonomic furniture, adequate lighting, technology integration, as well as usability and productivity aspects in creating an optimal and efficient working environment.

Wiza also highlighted the workspace design of tomorrow is centered around flexibility, sustainability, and well-being. Embracing cutting-edge technology and ergonomic solutions, these innovative spaces foster collaboration, creativity, and productivity. By integrating natural elements and sustainable materials, the design not only reduces environmental impact but also enhances the overall well-being of employees. Tomorrow’s workspaces are adaptive, promoting a healthy work-life balance and ensuring that every individual’s needs are met, ultimately driving productivity.

The talk show was attended by participants from various backgrounds, such as practitioners, universities, companies, associations and media.
